Why we’re clocking off at 3.14 pm this International Women’s Day
Future Group is proudly supporting Verve Super’s #PayGapPledge campaign and at 3:14 pm on March 8 the women and gender diverse people of our workplace are invited to clock off.
The time, 3.14 pm, represents the 21.7% average pay gap in Australia and the time at which women stop being paid for their full day's work.
This year Verve Super , Australia’s first super fund for women and founded by women, became a part of Future Group. Verve is marking International Women’s Day by launching the #PayGapPledge campaign.?
The Pay Gap Pledge movement encourages companies to commit to at least one key action to get to pay equality. Those actions include understanding your data, setting a target, improving hiring practices, making parental leave a priority and uplifting HR policies.?
