Why wellness retreats work!

Recent conversations that I have with many of my friends and clients around self-care and taking time out to replenish and refill your cup is often quite different to what they tell their friends or clients. For many it seems that they may feel that they are being judged, just dont have time or just don’t need it! Research tells us that taking time out to relax, re-focus, re-set and re-energise is essential for our health and wellbeing and here is why wellness retreats work?

Author and Professor Kristin Neff, is an expert on self-compassion. Her research has found that when people are compassionate, they experience greater wellbeing than those who judge themselves. She goes on to say that when you stay present, you can focus on what is working in your life rather than looking at what needs “fixing” in your life. Going on to emphasise that your should be the number one priority in life if you want to excel.

You start to see your life through a different lens, a more positive perspective which raises your body vibration. When this happens, it energises you are reduces the dis-ease within the cells of the body. It starts with taking time for yourself, to "fill your cup".

This is why this Weekend Wellness Retreat, being held at Peppers Noosa Resort & Villas from the 19 – 21 November 2021 has been created for you. It will provide a gentle, healing, relaxing place to get you ready for Christmas and to have some fun.
