WHY are we so skeptical?

Over the past few years we've seen more direct sales companies pop up than ever before. They flooded my news feed, and my inbox, as friends and colleagues posted about how it "changed their life" or sent me messages about joining them. They were driving luxury cars that were paid for, going on vacations, paying off their debt and living a life I only dreamed of.

But what did I do? I IGNORED them. Deleted their messages, Un-tagged myself. I wanted NOTHING to do with it.

Why?? Because I was SKEPTICAL. Because surely it was "too good to be true" and it must be a scam. But yet, I was seeing more and more people join these companies and have success.

The first company I was ever approached about had "sign up fees" and honestly, at that time I couldn't afford it. We see so many "scams" and "fake promises" everyday I feel like we put a wall up to anything that sounds too good to be true. Lack of "extra" money, being skeptical and my passionate dislike for "sales" put a BIG STOP SIGN up in front of me.

But WHAT if it was real? WHAT if it wasn't too good to be true? WHAT if I could be one of those people driving luxury vehicles, going on vacations and living that life I dreamed of?

Why was it so easy for me to pack my bags and move to the other side of the world for my career but I was scared and skeptical to give this a shot?? Because this was out of my COMFORT zone.

So I sat back for months and watched my friends...then it HIT me!! I had had ENOUGH of living paycheck to paycheck, not having extra money to go on vacations, driving that little Chevy Cavalier, that although had never let me down, had over 200,000 miles on it.

So I did it....I join a company whose product I was already taking and I stepped outside of my comfort zone. And GUESS WHAT?? It was FREE to join.

What company DOESN'T make you pay to sell their products? What company GIVES you FREE product every month? What company offers luxury vehicles and vacations paid for all while STILL giving you a weekly pay check??

I found a product I was passionate about and a company that goes above and beyond to take care of their promoters. It may not be the company for you, it may be, but one thing I do know is this...TAKE THAT STEP!!! Let down your "skeptical" walls and give it a shot. What have you got to lose? That's what I finally told myself.

The worst that can happen is it's not for you (and that's fine) but what if it WAS for you? What if it turned out to be the best decision you ever made??

I still work my "normal" job and still love it more than anything but now I also have a second source of income that has been a game changer for us.

You CAN have the best of both worlds!!
