OK, let’s talk about video strategy.
Video is hot right now. 82% of online traffic is video so understandably B2B companies want to do more with it.
The struggle is that many people get confused and hung up about where to start, what to do, and how to do it.?
That’s why I wanted to talk about the important first step: developing a strategy.?
Soooo, what do we mean by a “video strategy”??
Well, you have a marketing strategy, right? You have a business strategy?
Maybe strategy is a weird word, we could call it a plan, a way forward.?
You already have a plan, right??
You know who you’re talking to, what you’re trying to sell—and that’s probably worked well for a long time.?
However, I’m finding that most marketing plans have a suspiciously video-shaped hole in them, and I’m here to help fill that gap.
When we say “strategy,” we just mean understanding how video fits within your marketing, across the channels where you post.?
If you’re unsure, that’s exactly why you should be reading this.?
To make a video strategy effective, it has to align with your marketing strategy, your business goals.
To help make a way forward in this messy media morass of social media, iPhone video, TikToks and video everywhere, what I’ve been doing is meeting with clients to discuss their marketing and business goals and identifying areas where video might help.?
We then start shaping what that plan might look like.?
By creating test prototypes of sample video content, it starts to feel real, and we get a better sense of how to scale it.?
Let’s face it: if you’re doing video content once a quarter or once a year, that’s probably not enough.
If you’re not visible frequently, the audience will be giving attention elsewhere frequently.?
I can help YOU develop your video strategy right now.?
I've got 30 years experience creating video in many forms for many brands.
I'm a "video native" so I'm well-equipped to help you navigate these murky waters.
It begins with an easy, quick, free call.?
The call is about understanding basic things like:
Then, we’ll answer some questions you may have.
You’ll get answers to questions like:
The goal is for us both to ask enough questions so we can see if it makes sense to develop a strategic video plan.?
Then, we’ll know exactly what to do so we can execute on it.
As we move forward, if questions remain, we'll work together to get answers. Simple!
If you’re still reading this, I’m assuming this is resonating.?
If it is, then the next easy step is to schedule a time for us to talk about your goals, where you are now and we can assess together how video might be able to help you accomplish those goals
Don’t worry, there’s no selling involved, nobody will call you. There’s no commitments.?
This is YOUR time to get answers so you can move forward when you’re ready.
Now is the time to get clarity. Let’s talk video.?
