(WARNING, long post, and TRIGGER WARNING. If you have certain triggers that are associated with accidents, death, mental wellness, and the likes, you need to stop reading from this point).
This was a car driven by someone last Saturday night. He totally lost his mental capacity just in short hours before.
The entire family was watching TV as the wife observed him pacing the house, talking to himself. All of a sudden, he started to scream and instructed everyone to pack the household. Within minutes, he had filled the car with the bed frame, carpet, pots, and pans, clothes etc.
And he dragged his youngest son into the car while instructing the wife and daughter to join him too.
Just minutes before that, he had stripped his clothes off to his boxers. He also told them to strip as he did.
They then drove out, driving at top speed. The car came to a stop after failing to corner at a bend, and before that, the car was hitting everything in its warpath including road barriers.
As he drove with one hand, he kept on talking to "this person" telling to take him away "to the big island, far far away".
Merciful God, the car got wrecked just meters away from a roadblock.
What do you usually find just before a roadblock?
A group of bikers...
And these bikers and the police were the ones who helped the family from the wreckage.
As they pried open the doors, the daughter and father were the only ones who were conscious. Mom and son passed out.
The father who now is totally naked after deciding to strip off from his boxer decided to step out and performed a dance, masturbate, and silat for all to see.
Two ambulances came. One for the mom, son, and daughter. The other, for the father...
What a tragic day for everyone.
And to know that his family knew he needs help from 3 years ago... I am writing this post as it drives a point - what do we do as a family and society to help?
