Why We Laugh

Why We Laugh

Mabel had been feeling down for weeks. She was struggling to cope with the difficult situation she was in and her mood was taking a toll on her physical and mental health. She had tried to talk to her friends about it, but it did not seem to help. She felt like she was stuck in a rut and did not know how to get out.

One day, Mabel's friend suggested that she try something different. She said that laughter could be a great way to cope with difficult situations. Intrigued, Mabel decided to give it a try.

At first, Mabel found it hard to laugh. She felt like she had to force it, but eventually, she started to feel the effects of laughter on her body. She felt a wave of endorphins wash over her, and her stress levels began to decrease. She felt lighter and more relaxed.

Mabel soon realized that laughter was more than just a way to cope with difficult situations. It was a powerful tool that could be used to build stronger relationships. By laughing with her friends, she was able to establish emotional brain-to-brain communications and trust with them. She felt like she was part of a team, and it gave her a sense of belonging.

Mabel also began to understand the evolutionary origins of laughter. She learned that laughter is the most direct way of establishing emotional brain-to-brain communications and trust with others. It creates a limbic system lock that allows us to quickly and easily build trust and engagement with others.

Mabel's newfound understanding of laughter changed her life. She found that she was able to use laughter to cope with difficult situations and build stronger relationships. She also found that it had a range of psychological and physical benefits.

Laughter increased her endorphins, reducing her stress levels and boosting her mood. It also allowed her to tap into her right-brain intelligence, giving her greater creativity, productivity, engagement and collaboration.

Mabel soon found that laughter was an invaluable tool in her life. She was able to use it to cope with difficult situations, build stronger relationships, and even increase her productivity. She was grateful for the positive effects it had on her life and she vowed to use it as often as possible.
