Existing animal tracking tools are inadequate. 70% of all wildlife are too small for GPS/satellite tracking. Traditional hand radio tracking is time consuming, labour intensive, and expensive. Wildlife Drones solves for these problems by providing the world's best technology stack to track threatened and endangered animals anywhere in the world.

Wildlife Drones' initial product is an advanced radio-telemetry sensor, which can track multiple tagged animals simultaneously and overcome many of the time consuming and labour-intensive limitations of traditional hand-held tracking. The sensor is designed to easily attach to off-the-shelf drones and locates signals from tagged animals using a combination of embedded and base station software with sophisticated analytics.

Building on this core tech capability, Wildlife Drones is expanding to include multi-sensor data collection and a comprehensive Nature Data Insights (NDI) portal. The NDI portal is the first to integrate and analyse unique combinations of site-based ecosystem sensor data for biodiversity accounting, ranging from eDNA and individual animal movements to population counts and acoustic recordings across entire ecosystems.

Wildlife Drones generates revenue from SaaS subscription fees for signal processing and analytics software as well as sales of the enabling sensor hardware. They also offer an increasing array of subscription options for SaaS data analytics products such as viewshed spatial data analyses and Nature Data Insights’ ESG and Biodiversity reporting.
