?For those who haven’t heard about it, In a recent conversation with filmmaker Tonje Hessen Schei as part of the documentary on artificial intelligence called 'iHuman' produced by The Guardian , Ilya Sutskever shared an analogy for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and human beings. He likened our relationship with AGI to that of humans with animals. While humans have affection for animals, decisions such as building a highway between two cities are made without seeking the animals' permission because it is crucial for human interests. Ilya believes this analogy reflects the default relationship between humans and AGI, anticipating a scenario where AGI operates autonomously, acting in its own interests without requiring human approval.
