Why We Founded JobSiteCheck

Why We Founded JobSiteCheck

History has shown us that the need to innovate is greatest when society faces its toughest challenges. The list is long of companies that have been founded during recessions that later became the leaders of the future. Currently, we are facing strong health, economic, social, and political headwinds. The time to innovate is NOW.

In a recent study by McKinsey, 90% of executives believe that COVID-19 will fundamentally change the way they do business over the next 5 years. At the same time, innovation is not the focus of many organizations - they are focused on core survival. Only 21% of those same executives feel equipped to seek new growth and 2/3 of them believe that this will be the most challenging moment of their careers. The opportunity to innovate in the face of these challenges is left to those who are equipped to move fast and have a vision for what our “new normal” might be when we emerge out of this crisis.

The universal question being asked is how do we make it safe to come together again? That is our goal and our opportunity at JobSiteCheck. We founded JobSiteCheck to help make job sites, places of work, schools, and facilities safer and more transparent. We have built an elegant, intuitive solution that gathers the data needed to bring comfort being together to work, learn and interact again. In doing so, we have created a direct connection to people who are present in our spaces, opening myriad opportunities to increase safety, transparency and accountability with them. This transcends industries.

Right now, the biggest needs are in construction, education, and large facilities. We are starting there but know that it is just the beginning. As we work together with our customers, we will continue to learn how our technology can evolve and help in a post-COVID 19 world. Together, we can build technology that shapes how we reopen our economy, bring our children back into schools and create a safer, healthier, more transparent world.
