Why We Do This.
Nails Mahoney ?
Radio Talent Coach (Accredited). RadioStar Co-Creator. TEDx Speaker.
I was asked last week in Sweden, "Why did you get into coaching for a living?"
Not the first time that question came up and the answer is always the same:
"As a presenter, I got tired of consultants spending 5 days at the radio station speaking to sales and marketing and the morning show. Then on the final day, gathering 'the other' presenters for an hour to tell us how to Hook and Tease".
In other words - I wanted presenters to be valued and FEEL valued. I still do!
But I also saw that presenters were being ignored or hearing negatives about their performances.
I took courses in coaching, gained accreditation as a trainer and went out on my own.
Tracey Lee joined forces in 2017 because she is a kindred spirit and holds the same values as me.
We hear how great you can be!
It saddens us to hear radio shows where the presenter is obviously demotivated, bored or not putting the effort in. We want you to feel how amazing it is to create and execute the killer link every time - not just when you feel the boss is listening.

So, we hold Workshops and one-on-one coaching sessions to help presenters be the best they can be on-air. To show them that it's good to love what you do and to give them the tools to work within their format to the highest level.
We all want to be great. No one wakes up and says to themselves "I think I'll be average on air today".
We want you to be the best you can be and achieve all that you want!
With covid restrictions a memory now, we have been able to get back out on the road. To see and hear from real people the impact that our presentations are making is fantastic. That's not me boasting - it actually happens. It happens for three reasons:
I'll add one more: it makes radio fun again!
Our 'Ride The Intro' Presentation and Workshop are designed to entertain, empower and remind presenters of what radio is all about and why they are part of it.
It also deals with presentation in 2022 and not 1992!!!
For managers and PDs, it is the best way to help your presenters sound at their peak - when they sound fantastic, that trickles down to all parts of the business.
Isn't that what YOU want?
