Why Are We Blessed?

I went into a Chick-fil-a the other day to pick up an order. When the girl handed me the order I told her "Good morning, how are you?" She went on and on telling me excitedly how blessed she was. "Awesome!" I said. I left without her asking me how I was doing.

We are all blessed by God. What we do with the blessings is what makes a difference in the lives of others. If we humbly use God's blessing to help those who could never help us, we do God's will. If we keep God's blessing for ourselves, we are selfish. What message do we send by telling the world how blessed we are while not even being interested in our neighbor in need? We are blessed to be a blessing to others.
