Why we all should support Small Business Saturday and the local community businesses!

This past Saturday was "Small Businesses Saturday 2015." My wife and I enjoyed a date night and visited one of the local restaurants. While enjoying a great Italian dinner I was reminded of what a blessing it was to have a booming local small business community here in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Grand Rapids is experiencing a lot of growth in our downtown and suburban areas. We have many new construction projects going on and it is exciting to see the growth. 

Small Businesses are the backbone of our economy here locally and across the U.S. I feel it is our job to support them and increase their commerce. When we shop local we help not only the business but also that local business owner provide for his/her family.
