Why wait? Its time.....

After careful consideration and planning with a sense of both excitement and relief, I have decided to embark on a new chapter in my life. This change has been growing within me for a long time – to leave Sweden and create a new existence in Bansko, Bulgaria.

This decision is not a farewell to my work or my country, but rather a pursuit of living and working in an environment where my experience and ideas can thrive. For quite some time, I have felt that the Swedish system no longer values the knowledge and expertise I have accumulated over the years. Instead of struggling against a system that no longer feels inclusive, I choose to take control of my own future and create new opportunities in a place where creativity, entrepreneurship, and the international community are at the center.

Bansko offers something unique – an international atmosphere where digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and creative individuals from all over the world gather. Here, the old meets the new, and it is a place that offers both natural beauty and an inspiring lifestyle. Fresh mountain air, hot springs, and a cost of living that allows for a freer life are just some of the aspects that attract me. My creative studio in Bansko, overlooking the majestic Pirin Mountains, will become my new hub for ideas and projects.

This step also means a change in my writing. My blog has been an important part of my journey, but moving forward, my posts will become less frequent. This does not mean I will stop writing, but rather that my focus will shift towards creating and developing my new life in Bansko together with my partner, Boryana. Without her, this would never have been possible. Her understanding of Bulgarian culture and our shared drive to build something meaningful have been crucial to this decision. We are a team, and together we create opportunities where our experiences and skills complement each other.

I leave Sweden with a sense of gratitude for what has been, but also with strong anticipation for what lies ahead. Life is a journey, and sometimes it takes courage to let go of the familiar to embrace the unknown. I look forward to building a future where passion, freedom, and community are at the core – and where I have the opportunity to live fully, on my own terms.
