Why The Viva Event 2023 Will Be A Gamechanger For Me

Why The Viva Event 2023 Will Be A Gamechanger For Me

I am just home after spending 3 days at the Viva Event in Albir, Spain with my wife Julie.

Just under 200 people hearing from some of the best ‘3 Principles’ speakers on the planet and then going deeper with the Principles in some superbly hosted breakout groups. There was also plenty of time and space to meet other people to spend time together sharing our experiences as well as lots of food.

Add in that it was taking place in Albir which is a truly beautiful place with a wonderful climate, and you have one hell of an event on your hands.

It was one incredible experience after another.

In case you don’t know, the ‘3 Principles’ are, they are an understanding about how our minds work that have massively impacted my life over the last 4 years. I won’t go into what they are here, but I will say that since coming across them I have changed a lot, my life has changed a lot.

I am calmer, more relaxed, more peaceful. I laugh more. My stress and worry levels are a fraction of what they were, I am getting more done in my life and in my business than at any stage since I launched it. My sense of what is possible in my life, in my work and in my relationships keeps growing and growing. My understanding of who I really am and where my moment-to-moment experience of life comes from, has changed life from being a test, from being something that often had to be endured, into an incredible journey of possibility that I have never been more excited to be on.

The change in me was significant to the extent that my wife eventually saw that it wasn’t another fad I had come across and got curious. Now her understanding of the principles has started to impact her life in a big way too. Our marriage of 32 years has never been better. ?

Here are a few of my highlights from the Viva event …

  • My incredible and inspiring coach Ankush Jain was one of the main speakers and shared his vision to transform the coaching industry and to raise the consciousness of the planet. You could have heard a pin drop as he spoke and the sense of possibility in the room was palpable.
  • Jacquie Moses was on fire as she co-led a few of the break-out sessions. Her presence as she co-led a session with Ankush about ‘Money’ was incredibly compelling, powerful and grounded.
  • I had amazing conversations with Kirsten Heynisch , John Dashfield , Laurence Knott, PCC , Niraj Bakrania … as well as many other people from all over Europe and a few from beyond who I had never met before.

I cried a little. I laughed … a lot!!

The feelings I am sitting with on the plane home as I type this are seriously beautiful. I have been deepening into this for 3 days. It has been a while since I felt this connected to who I really am. It has been a while since I felt this calm, peaceful, excited, hopeful, inspired, energised and loving.

Finally, I fell in love with my amazing and inspiring wife Julie McCammon all over again every day I was in Albir. For avoidance of doubt, that doesn’t mean that I had fallen out of love with her in any way … but the love I am feeling right now has gone to a level I have never experienced before.

What excites me hugely is that I am certain that he impact of the Viva Event 2023 in only just beginning.

There will be another Viva Event in 2024 and the dates are already in our calendar.

If you want to know more about the principles I have referenced in this article, let me know and I’ll send you a link to a link to a brilliant 15 min TedTalk that opens the door on how a simple understanding about how our minds work can transform how we experience life and help us tap into the incredible possibility that exists in all of us.

What a lovely post Peter. I loved the event very much too in so many different ways. Love the way your love for Julie was refreshed and reaffirmed in Albir. That's beautiful Peter.
