Why 'Virat', one of the World's Greatest Batsmen of All time is unable to ride out his Slump!
We all know how Virat Kohli at the age of 19 came, saw and conquered the cricketing world. He was breaking record after record, he was vowing everyone with his work ethics, he was Mr. Dependable when it came to taking his team past the finishing line, riding out tough situations but that was until 2019. It has been over two years since he has scored a Hundred and virtually every bowler in the world whether a rookie or a champion feels they can get his wicket, every time they bowl to him. Before we discuss, his current form (or lack of it) and how he can come out it, let's just recap some of his glorious achievements:
Virat Kohli records
I am sure that I will run out of space if I list all his achievements but the question that everyone is asking is 'what's wrong with Virat' and what's he doing to change it? Well with all humility and no claim being an expert in Cricket, I would like to give certain recommendations, more as a 'Success Coach and a Neuroscience practitioner':
3. Practice, Practice, Practice: many experts like Shastri and Brett Lee are saying that he should take a break from cricket even if it's for 6 months! While I agree that a break may do him good and take his mind off from his current failures but eventually the only way he can get back into form is practice and play as many matches as he can. He should play domestic cricket, play in England with the best in the world without the pressure of an international cricket and rediscover his mojo!!

4. Don't overthink and enjoy his game: the pressure which was his greatest friend earlier is now his biggest enemy! He should focus on every ball and not think too much about the century that's overdue and enjoy every moment that he gets to spend in the cricket field, his teammates etc.
5. Stay focused and practice humility: this may sound little controversial but his actions in the recent past, especially when he's not performing, seems like a kid who's trying to show off without any substance. I would like to see him less animated but more focussed, bottling up all his emotions that seem childish and instead have the poise and focus of a monk who's not distracted by all the noise around him or the ups and downs!!
I hope that Virat is able to see this article and implement some of the suggestions to become his best and the greatest batsman the world has ever seen.
