Why I Started Top Flight Computers

When I opened up my own custom PC shop, I did it for a few reasons.

I enjoy working with my hands and creating things, the technical aspect was soothing to my mind and allowed me to really get in the details. I wanted to directly control a professional aspect of my life, and I wanted to provide the same level of joy and satisfaction that I felt using my own custom-built PC to others.

Using a computer that I had designed (and built) myself gave me a great deal of confidence and happiness, and I wanted to help others get the rig they had been dreaming of.

I knew that some folks would be better suited to a mass-market pre-built computer, and that was perfectly fine with me. Everybody is different, and sometimes a lower-cost product with faster shipping times is what fits better.

Sometimes, a custom-built rig is the best option for personal considerations, immediate needs, and long term goals. That is where we would specialize.

It’s All In A Name

I named my company Top Flight Computers because I’m an airplane dork, and I wanted a name that showcased our focus on customer relationships and product quality.

I was mumbling about for a name for about a week...and it kinda just hit me...and stuck.
