10 years ago, you couldn’t watch a TEDx talk online.
Meanwhile, going and watching a TED talk was a luxury and would cost you a fortune. It still is .. the tickets for the flagship TED conference start from $5,000
Now we have the luxury of being able to watch every talk online for free and learn about topics that we would never be able to lean about if TED talks were not published.
So, why are TEDx talks so important to watch?
Each TEDx talk is an in depth look into a specific topic.
This can be a topic you already know a little bit about but want to learn more about, or it can be a topic that you know nothing about but are just interested in learning something new.
They are short enough to keep you interested and are kept to the point. This means that you won’t be given any unnecessary information on the topic you are curious about.?
Inclusivity
One of the best things about TEDx is that everyone can get involved.
Anyone from anywhere in the world can share their wisdom no matter their race, religion or gender.
There are also so many different professions that we see on the stage. We have seen talks from models, scientists and even singers. It shows that each speaker has a professional understanding of their topic and their wisdom needs to be shared.?

Global issues?
It is very common in recent years for the younger generation to be concerned and involved in global issues.
TEDx talks allow them to become aware of worldwide topics and find ways in which they can help. This may be connecting with people who have been affected by the topic they have just learned about?via social media and looking for ways in which they can help.
It also makes the younger generation become more aware of what's happening in the world so they become more sympathetic towards these issues.?
I know I have only given you a few reasons here as to why TEDx talks are so important to watch but I hope you can see that they are there to educate everyone no matter where you are in the world. They give a professional insight to a topic that would be difficult to learn about had that talk not been published.?
