The purpose of this article is to know that how these companies so called Tech Giants are using Red Hat product called Ansible.
What is Ansible ?
Ansible is one of the product from Red Hat which is mostly used to automate the Configuration Management, and can be used for other things like provisioning etc also.
In Industry, their is a huge requirement of automation as it saves a lot of cost, in terms of money as well as human effort also.
Why Tech Giants are choosing Ansible ?
You must be thinking that this kind of thing can also be done by doing some scripting, Right?
Well yes, It can be done but the effort in writing it is far far more than Ansible.
Explanation :-
In Scripting, we have to tell what to do and how to do.
But in Ansible, we just have to just tell what to do and it will manage how to do the task on its own.
That's the beauty of Ansible.
>> Now you can figure out the things in industry which we have to tell how should be done, all can be handled by this super cool tool by Red Hat! <<
What Microsoft says about this tool ?
" Implementing Ansible has helped Microsoft save thousands of work hours per year, including several weeks’ worth of work by reducing production downtime and network configuration defects. This approach ultimately reduces major incidents and outages, improving network quality."
" Red Hat and Ansible technology will continue to play an important role in Microsoft’s automation strategy "
