Why Successful Investing Is Like Scuba Diving

Welcome to the wonderful world of scuba diving and having the privilege of seeing the colourful ocean reefs teaming with life and to the wonderful world of asset generated income and the wonderful freedom created for you when you no longer need to be involved in earning money actively.

On the surface (pun intended ?) you may think I’m stretching things really far to create a link between these two worlds but in this video you’ll see why successful investing is a lot like scuba diving.

Having watched this video I hope you now see why successful investing and creating asset generated income is just like discovering the incredible abundant world under the ocean surface.

There’s more to it too. Every time I get to dive or go into the bush deep in the heart of Africa or get to experience the wonder of nature not too damaged by us humans, I get reminded how important our consumption choices are and that every choice we make regarding how we spend our money and on what, impacts the world.

Our wealthy life is created at the backdoor!

Our reality is created by how we spend our precious resources – our time, our energy, and our money – and what we choose to spend them on. Those choices have a direct impact on our day to day lives, on tomorrow and next year’s financial reality, on our family and our community and on the precious earth we get to inhabit for a while.

I hope this video inspires you to explore a little wider and discover even more ways to create asset generated income in both the more traditional investing worlds of stock market investing and property investing and in more alternative areas like vending machines. If you haven’t yet done any scuba diving, then hopefully my footage at the end of this video will also inspire you to do that too.

The parallel between these two worlds is this…

… just because you can’t see something from your current view point and just because you’ve never been exposed to it before doesn’t mean it isn’t there and it doesn’t mean you can’t benefit from it and get to experience all the wonder and joy it offers.
