Why not stop waiting for the perfect weather?

Summer is finally here – but with Glastonbury Festival happening next week, we can expect the heavens to open pretty soon.?

If you’re planning an outdoor event, but holding out for the ideal weather, (dry, not too hot, not too windy…) you could be waiting a long time.???

The same applies when starting conversations with clients about their goals, challenges, and concerns. Rather than waiting for the perfect moment, it’s better to be proactive and start exploring these issues. You could ask questions such as:?

  • When you have a chance to look towards the future, what is occupying most space in your head??
  • What’s your number one aim for your team this year??
  • How do you feel recent market trends/regulatory changes will impact you??

It’s tempting to wait for the perfect moment to explore your client’s needs beyond the current project delivery. But the quicker you start delving in, the easier it will be to add value and develop a stronger relationship.?
