Why is the stock market up so much?

Despite record unemployment, a virus with no cure, and political unrest, the stock market has surprisingly remained resilient. In fact, we have witnessed several indices and stocks trading at all time highs. How is that possible? Through stimulus efforts, the Federal Reserve has provided much needed market stability. It appears the government has no limit to how much money they are willing to pump into the economy.

On this week’s episode of Maconomics, Ross Mac discusses what has caused the stock market to continue trading higher. Topics include:

  • Federal Reserve's bond buying program
  • Pension fund rotation into higher returning asset classes

It is an illusion to allow an escape route for the rich. If China is selling off America's debt which is Huge and about to announce their own currency...let's put on our thinking caps!
