Why is sport an important part when working fully remote?

When you work remotely, it’s important to have a plan in place for when you don't have access to your office. This doesn't mean that you have to spend hours at the gym or get into marathons with your friends, but rather that this is a time for reflection and rejuvenation. In fact, exercise can be used as an effective way of coping with stress from remote work since it helps to relieve physical tension and improve focus on tasks.??

Working remotely is a great way to get a lot accomplished, but it can also be challenging. I've been working from home for over 2 years, and I'm still learning how to find the balance between work, rest and play. Sport is one of the most important things that keeps me balanced so let's look at what sport has taught me about working as a remote employee. Here are some ways that sports can help you perform better as a remote employee:?

Improving wellness and fitness with work flexibility?

A flexible work schedule is something that remote workers have, and there are many reasons for it. For example, you can choose to work from home or any location you like instead of commuting every day to the office. You can also choose your working hours when it is most convenient for you and your family. This could mean working late at night when everyone else is asleep, but still being able to spend time with them in the morning before they go off to school or work themselves.?

It's not just about choosing when you want to start and end your day—it's also about having a healthy lifestyle overall by taking care of your mental and physical health as well as time spent with loved ones.?

How you work affects your health.??

Working remotely can be challenging at times. A lot of people who work remotely experience loneliness because they don't see their coworkers every day. On top of that, you need to be disciplined, self-motivated and organized in order to make sure that you get your work done on time without any distractions. Working remotely can be a great way to get some time away from your desk and into the outdoors. Here's how you can make sure that working in nature is also good for your health:?

  • Get enough sleep. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), adults need seven-to-eight hours of sleep each night.?
  • Eat well. The CDC also says that eating right helps with overall physical health, which is important if you're going to be exercising regularly outside. To ensure that you're eating right, get acquainted with the CDC's recommendations on healthy diet choices and how much water people should drink every day (which varies depending on age).?
  • Exercise regularly. Whether it's a morning jog or an afternoon hike, try getting in at least 30 minutes of exercise five days per week—even if only one of those days is spent outdoors! And don't forget about stretching afterward; stretching will help keep muscles flexible so they don't become sore later on down the line when working out becomes more frequent as part of your daily routine."?

Mobility is important for the body and the mind.?

In the workplace, mobility is important for the body and the mind. This is true of companies as well as their employees. Employees may not even realize that they're spending too much time sitting down—a sedentary lifestyle can lead to serious health problems like heart disease or diabetes in some cases!?

On top of all this, there are also studies showing how eating lunch alone can decrease happiness levels over time - so taking breaks throughout the day is necessary both mentally and physically!?

One of the most important aspects of working remotely is keeping your body healthy. Physical activity can help you to:?

  • Maintain a healthy weight and body mass index (BMI)?
  • Reduce the risk of heart disease, diabetes and high cholesterol?
  • Improve your mood and energy levels, which helps with work performance?

It’s also important to make time for physical activity because it allows you to stay connected with others who are working from home as well. You may be able to find a local group who meets up regularly for workouts or hikes in your area. If not, there are plenty of online groups available or using apps like Strava which allow you to share your favorite routes with other people who use the app.?

Home office is a challenge for the back.?

This is especially important if you work from home with no one around to remind you to stand up, take a break and so on.?

If you have a normal office workplace, there are usually signs reminding you that it is time for your break or lunch. However, when working from home, we tend to forget the importance of resting because we don't want to lose any time or productivity. This can lead us into sitting in an uncomfortable position for too long without taking breaks which can lead to back problems later in life.?

You should make sure that when working at home:?

  • Your chair fits your body type and has lumbar support (so that your lower back stays supported)?
  • You have good posture while sitting down so it doesn't cause any strain on your back muscles?
  • You get up regularly during the day - even if this means just standing instead of walking around?

Working remotely requires a lot of discipline.?

Working remotely requires a high level of self-discipline. If you’re going to be working without anyone else around and without the constant distraction of people around, it means that you have to be able to keep yourself focused on the task at hand. You need to be able to manage your time well and make sure that you don’t get distracted by other things like social media or even just having a conversation with someone else.?

The more disciplined that you are, the better off you will end up being when working remotely because it forces you into self-discipline which is really important when we consider all of these benefits that come from working as a remote worker.?

Sport helps to maintain a healthy sleep.?

With so many teams and leagues to choose from, you can easily find one that fits your schedule and interests. From soccer to basketball, hockey to lacrosse; there's plenty of options for every sport lover out there. If you're not the biggest sports fan in the world, don't worry! There are plenty of non-traditional ways that you can integrate some physical activity into your day without feeling like it's too much work or too boring (we'll get into those later). You might even find yourself looking forward to exercising instead of dreading it! If you're looking for something that requires less time commitment than traditional sports such as football or basketball then consider taking up something like crossfit instead since this allows people who may have injuries or disabilities still be able to participate by modifying exercises so they are easier (such as using dumbbells instead of lifting weights). Another good option would be yoga classes because they're relaxing yet challenging at times depending on how often someone practices them regularly so there's always room for improvement!?

  • Sport helps with sleep quality:?

Getting enough sleep has been shown time and again as one of the best ways we have at maintaining healthy mental health and reducing stress levels.?

  • ?When we get enough restful sleep at night our brains have time to process everything they've learned throughout the day before starting over fresh with new neural pathways.?
  • It also allows us more energy throughout the day so that when we do end up stressed out about something there’s more left available for solving problems rather than just adding them on top.?
  • One way that many people use exercise is as part of their bedtime routine because this forces them into bed earlier (before midnight) so they can get better shuteye.?

Sport is the perfect balance between work and rest.?

Sport is an important part of every person's life, not just for the physical benefits but also for the mental ones. Sport is a great way to relax after a long day of work, it can be very relaxing and let you forget about your problems for a while. Sport can also help you burn off steam after getting frustrated with work or other things in your life.?

Sport is a great way to get fit and stay healthy while working remotely because it helps you keep active during your day-to-day routine, which will make you feel better than sitting at home on your couch all day without doing anything physical.?

Only if you have a fulfilling private life, you can work successfully.?

It's a fact that we all have to accept, but it's also a fact that many people don't want to accept. They think they can only be successful in business if they work 24/7, neglecting their social connections and health.?

This is what I call the "loner" approach: If you don't have any friends besides your colleagues at work, then this means that your life is going well—right? As long as nobody needs anything from me and my bank account keeps growing (I think we can all agree that this is not actually the case), then my job must be fulfilling enough for me! The truth is that there are many other ways of measuring success—and living up to one's potential should not just be measured by how much money one makes or how much time one spends with coworkers.?

In addition to being able to enjoy healthy relationships with friends and family members (which itself offers several benefits), having free time allows us an opportunity for self-reflection—one of our most important tools when trying to grow as individuals who want success in both our personal lives and professional careers.?

Conclusion?

As remote workers, we need to make sure that we are doing all the necessary things to keep our bodies healthy and strong. This could be by going for a run in the morning or by going to the gym after work. INKUBIT also supports our employees in a gym membership reimbursement to encourage an active lifestyle since we are all remote workers. We really care about our employees’ well-being, that’s why we need to make sure that we stay active so that our mind is clear and we can focus on our work throughout the day!?

We may have to rethink our idea of what a perfect work environment looks like. It is not always about working from home or the office. Remote work offers many great benefits, but it also has its challenges. Working from home does not mean that you are less productive than in an office setting. You can still be highly productive even when you stay at home, but you need some discipline and motivation if this is going to happen successfully! Sport helps us find balance between work and rest which ultimately leads us to success in both domains.?
