Sonia was thinking about spending money on private English classes.
She thought it might be easier to join a free government-funded class.
She was tempted to go for “free” (who doesn’t love free?), but she looked a little deeper.
?
What to Expect in These Big Classes
?? Lots of waiting time
?? One-size-fits-all classes that are not tailored for job or daily conversations.
?? Slow progress, as you may spend months on grammar you already know
?? Not much opportunity to practice English conversation
?
Sonia wanted to reach her goals quickly.
Why Private Classes Were? a Game-Changer for Sonia
Sonia decided to have one-on-one private English sessions :
?? It is all about HER!
?? We focus on HER goals -- job interviews, presentations, or everyday conversations.
?? There is no waiting. Every minute of the session is for HER.
?? She got accepted to a graphic arts course..
?? Sonia got her dream job as a Graphic Arts Designer.

The faster you improve, the sooner you’ll see the benefits.
Plus, she has better English forever—it’s a skill that keeps giving.

Sonia Did the Numbers
Let’s say you spend $2,000 on private lessons over six months
Because of that, you get a job paying $50,000/year instead of $35,000/year.
You’ll make back that $2,000 in no time! Plus, you’ll have better English forever—it’s a skill that keeps giving.

Time Is Precious
Your time is valuable.
Wasting it on free sessions could cost you more in the long run than investing in private classes now.

So, if you’re serious about your future, think carefully about how you spend your time and money.
Remember, your dreams are worth it!

2 个月I think you have great insight. A lot depends on getting the right fit between teacher and student. That often takes time on the part of the teacher and the student to be able to focus on what each student truly needs to succeed in the long run. Learning a language is like learning to play an instrument. It takes time to learn it well ... lifelong learning..But having said that, "substance comes before form." In speaking even "broken" English, can people understand what you mean? That can very well be all you need to get a job ...To keep the job maybe you will learn what you need to learn "on the job."
