Why Speaking?

I am often asked, "Why is speaking so important to grow my business and income?" You can't be invisible, you can't just "build it and they will come", you can't sell what people don't know is available to them, what people don't know they need. People need you, your unique gifts, talents and take on helping them to solve a problem. Speaking will increase your leads, build your authority, credibility, and visibility, and allow you to make a bigger impact in the world! That's what I love to do, I help authors, speakers, small business owners, entrepreneurs, and nonprofit leaders make a bigger impact.

I have a proven track record in guiding business owners to success by generating an increase in profitability and by implementing successful speaking strategies.?When I am asked to speak in public, my speaking topics include:?“The Six-Figure Solution: 5 Secrets to Add 6 Figures to Your Business in the Next 12 Months!”?and?“Speak Your Way to Over $100K in 60 Minutes Or Less”.

I truly believe in this work, and all of my profit centers revolve around speaking...because I know the value that speaking brings. People don't usually just wake up one day and decide to develop a signature talk or decide to take up public speaking. Like all main facets of your education, it's an investment in growth for yourself and for your business.

We all have a story to tell, our WHY, which usually includes our HOW...but it is our story and is unique to us. So while someone else may serve your niche and provide a similar product or service...they aren't you...and I am telling you that your ideal clients, customers and your unique tribe will know the difference. Your perfect people are out there waiting for you to speak to them.

So let me share with you what I've learned about public speaking:

• Nobody was born a public speaker. It is an acquired skill.
• The greatest public speakers across history at some point were afraid of public speaking.
• Fear may be the only thing stopping you from fulfilling your destiny. Let’s deal with that fear and unleash the speaker in you
• Believe in Yourself- You are braver than you think, more talented than you know, and capable of more than you imagine
• It’s Not About You – It’s about your audience. If you focus on what you can share with your audience that will make their lives better, then you are not worried about making a mistake or if they will like you.?
• Turn Your Fear into Excitement – When we are afraid or excited, our hearts beat faster and there is a strange feeling in our stomach. The feeling we have when we are afraid or excited is the same. It is how we interpret the situation that is different. Tell yourself that you are excited, because you have the privilege of changing someone’s life for the better when you get up on stage.
• Be Yourself – “You are obligated to understand that you are unique in the world. There has never been anyone like you because if there were, there would be no need for you to exist. You are an utterly new thing in creation.
• Realize That Your Audience Is Routing for You – It’s important for you to know in your heart that your audience wants you to succeed.
