It’s always the ideal thing to do to get more things done fast, yet 90% of leaders struggle at doing it on the first try. Yes, I’m talking about DELEGATING.
Most people struggle with delegating for so many reasons, but the most common reasons range from fear of being outshone that you are no longer relevant because someone else can do the job for you, or maybe you need to feel like you are always in control of any situation, or maybe you just generally lack the trust for your team.
But know this mama, whatever reason/s you have for not delegating, it will not outweigh the benefits you will get from doing it. Delegating is liberating in the sense that you free up yourself with so many repetitive tasks that you can focus on other important tasks. It is also empowering because you develop accountability within your team and at the same time, you give them the chance to shine!
