Why smart job seekers work so hard for no one to respond.

Here’s what’s happening when you’re working day and night applying for jobs, customizing your resume and cover letter for each one AND

No one is responding or hiring you…?

?

Because getting hired isn’t about feeding bullet pointed information through a computer system repeatedly.

?

It’s about activating someone’s intrigue in their brain on a new level. And that doesn’t happen through a computer screening system with a bazillion other applicants. It doesn’t happen over night either.

?

It happens in a 4 step process:

These 4 things need to take place in the brain of the person who is needing to hire, and it happens before they know they’re having a conscious thought about it, they will know when they see it and respond to it.?

If you don’t know this and most people don’t, many people are in fact sending in hundreds of applications and using so much of their energy applying for jobs, getting really disheartened with the lack of responses,? and yet the keep doing this, even when they still aren’t getting a line up of people wanting to interview them.?

It’s super annoying! This doesn't’ happen when you’re following me.

Here’s the thing with most people:?

?

1????If you do not know that you need to reach NEW people, people who you may know of but do not know YOU.


You can apply thousands of times and the system is set up and it will not allow you to succeed.


You need to be reaching NEW PEOPLE , NEW people that you like and admire, NEW people that can hire you and want to hire for the value you can offer them.


EVEN if they don't’ know it yet! ?


2????The person who is NEW Needs to be intrigued by you, and what you have to say, they need to see you as different to the pile of people who they have spoken to and seen that look “decent on paper.” ?


3????They need to have a good reason in their mind to want more of an experience about what you can offer to do for them.


You can have a ton of supporters and a ton of people referring you for jobs which is great, but if they don’t SEE the value and specific things you can do for them and what the ROI could be for THEM, they won’t have that inclination to actually COMMIT to putting a contract together for you to sign. ?


4???They need to have some reason to hire you like now, because otherwise they won’t have any reason to believe they need to move quickly.


People are inherently more comfortable staying where they are, even if it doesn't benefit them, so I’ll be teaching the “now energy” at this cocktail party.?
