Why shouldn’t it be easy to navigate African cities?

It’s almost as if we should accept that Africa is large, unorganised, complicated and unmappable - at least that seems to be the general discourse when it comes to visiting and navigating the continent. I bet even now you’re just imagining a savannah with lions and zebras and meerkats. Ha - gotcha!

The truth is though, that the continent is far more developed and organised than the general discourse would suggest. Visiting Ghana nearly 10 years ago and having the deep desire to explore my country and my continent, embedded in me a mission to help all people do the same, wherever in the world they are.

TortoisePath has transformed from a simple personal directory, to a fully featured lifestyle platform, with AI natively embedded across every facet, giving each user a truly personalised experience.

For example visitors to Aburi botanical gardens can literally point their camera at a plant and ask the AI, what it is and get a very apt answer:

Or someone interested in knowing the price of food at restaurant before visiting, can simply ask “How affordable is this place?” Or use MenuFinder to find the actual menu.

We’ve since started introducing new experiences aimed at making life in Africa as seamless as anywhere else in the world.

Need Medical Support? - AskAnnie ??????

Financial & Professional Services? - Talk to Abacus ??

Want to find the perfect School? - Head to SchoolFinder ??

We’re starting in Ghana ????, but we believe our work can have a transformational impact on how people live and experience their cities, countries, continents and the world.?

Ready to take the TortoisePath?…??
