Why should you write personal content on a Business Platform?

LinkedIn?? is a Business Platform. So why should we write personal content?

We are all people and people buy people so why not? It helps us understand who we are. It helps us to make cnnections and find commnon ground adn things that unite us.

The more that you share the more that people build a picture about you and want to know you. But this doesn't mean that you have to share everything.

Just share what you are comfortable with. My ideas each week lean more towards personal content. It doesn't all have to be business metrics and talking about operations!

Here are my 5 ideas for you this week

I keep getting people asking me why their content is tanking.

Here are some things to think about.

Do you ask questions to hook people into your content?Do you imagine one of your clients when you are writing your content?? If you do you will word it accordingly and thus make the story relate to that person.?

But in turn we'll all be engaged.

Are your photos 'stock photos' or are they really YOU?? Stock photos give your content a polished look so it looks like a corporate post.? When was the last time you stopped scrolling to engage with a corporate post?

Never eh?

Talk about Your VA

Do you have a VA (Virtual Assistant to help you with your business?? I know a few people who have multiple VA's who specialise in different things.? A social media one, a travel one and maybe a bookkeeping one. There are so many subjects that you could write about on this topic. Why do you use a VA?? How did you find your VA?? What makes a good VA?? What has your VA enabled you to do?? If you are thinking about getting a VA write your post as a question and find all this stuff out.??

Earth Day (22?April)?

Do you ever feel like you're not doing enough for the planet? I touched on this in a recent chat. We all can make a difference, so what’s your move? Have you recycled any good stuff lately? Switched off some lights for nature? Or maybe you're leading a community cleanup? Earth Day should give you some ideas to?get creative and share your thoughts. Are you inspiring your friends and followers to join in? Earth Day isn't just a day, it's a movement. If you have sustainability as part of your core values why not share this with us?

A Walk in the Woods

As the weather gets nicer and less rain we've been walking in the woods with our grandson.? So much to see and do and so much content.? Why not share your favourite walks.? Photos of bluebells.? Real nature.? Muddy trails and so much green.? Maybe you are involved in some woodland trust that you could share with us.? Don't forget your wellies ??

I've been listening to Noah Kahan after hearing his Season of the Sticks song on the radio. Can you recommend any new artists?? Talk about how you consume your music.? Having YouTube on in the background while I work gets me down all sorts of new music rabbit holes.? Is this you, or do you stick to what you know?? Who's your favourite artist?? I've been sharing my theming ideas over the last few weeks.? We've got to Thursday.? Why not share your thoughts every Thursday, or how about THROWBACK Thursday??
