Why should you worry? …Why? Really, why?
Instead of worrying about what you cannot control, shift your energy to what you can create.
Don't waste your time in anger, regrets, worries, and grudges. Life is too short to be unhappy.
More smiling, less worrying. More compassion, less judgment. More blessed, less stressed.
The title of the post is an argument for never worrying again. because, really, why should you ever worry about anything?
What would you tell a stressed-out friend?
Make sure to worry about your problems!
No. You say don’t worry.
How much worrying is too much?
We worry for many reasons, money, love, success and what not.
Worries, doubts, and anxieties are a normal part of life. It’s natural to worry about an unpaid bill, an upcoming job interview, or a first date. But “normal” worry becomes excessive when it’s persistent and uncontrollable.
You worry every day about “what ifs” and worst-case scenarios, you can’t get anxious thoughts out of your head, and it interferes with your daily life.
Constant worrying, negative thinking, and always expecting the worst can take a toll on your emotional and physical health.
It can sap your emotional strength, leave you feeling restless and jumpy, cause insomnia, headaches, stomach problems, and muscle tension, and make it difficult to concentrate at work or school/college.
You may take your negative feelings out on the people closest to you, self-medicate with alcohol or drugs Generalized, or try to distract yourself by zoning out in front of screens.
Chronic worrying can also be a major symptom of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), a common anxiety disorder that involves tension, nervousness, and a general feeling of unease that colors your whole life.
If you’re plagued by exaggerated worry and tension, there are steps you can take to turn off anxious thoughts. Chronic worrying is a mental habit that can be broken. You can train your brain to stay calm and look at life from a more balanced, less fearful perspective.
There's a brutal truth in life that some people refuse to accept: You have no control over many of the things that happen in your life.
They think if they can gain enough control over other people and the situations they find themselves in, they can prevent bad things from happening.
Others know they can't prevent bad things from happening, but they worry about them anyway. They fret about everything from natural disasters to deadly diseases. Their worries keep them occupied, but ultimately they waste their time and energy, because worrying doesn't do any good.
If you find yourself wasting time worrying about things you can't control, when you find yourself worrying, take a minute to examine the things you have control over.
You can't prevent a storm from coming, but you can prepare for it. You can't control how someone else behaves, but you can control how you react.
Recognize that, sometimes, all you can control is your effort and your attitude. When you put your energy into the things you can control, you'll be much more effective.

To have the most influence, focus on changing your behavior. Be a good role model and set healthy boundaries for yourself. When you have concerns about someone else's choices, share your opinion, but only share it once. Don't try to fix people who don't want to be fixed.
Ask yourself what you are afraid will happen: Are you predicting a catastrophic outcome?
?Do you doubt your ability to cope with disappointment?
Usually, the worst-case scenario isn't as tragic as you might envision. There's a good chance you're stronger than you think.
But sometimes people are so busy thinking things like "I can't allow my business to fail" that they don't take the time to ask themselves, "What would I do if my business failed?" Acknowledging that you can handle the worst-case scenario can help you put your energy into more productive exercises.
Replaying conversations in your head or imagining catastrophic outcomes over and over again isn't helpful. But solving a problem is.
Do you want to add a word or two?....
Develop healthy affirmations.
I have two phrases I use to remind myself to either take action or calm down. The first is, Make it happen. Whenever I catch myself saying something like, "I hope I do OK today," I remind myself, "Make it happen." It reminds me that I'm in control of my actions.
I'll either do what I can to make it happen or deal with the things I have no control over.
It is difficult to live in and enjoy the moment when you are thinking about the past or worrying about the future. You cannot change your past, but you can ruin the present by worrying about your future. Learn from the past, plan for the future.
The more you live in and enjoy the present moment, the happier you will be.

How would your life be different if…You stopped worrying about things you can’t control and started focusing on the things you can? Let today be the day…You free yourself from fruitless worry, seize the day and take effective action on things you can change.
Why should you worry, when there are no benefits from worrying?
Worry is an enemy emotion that will hijack your brain like a computer virus. If you let it.
There will never be a conflict in your life you will improve by worrying.
If you disagree, leave a comment.
Think about your life for a moment before continuing.
Can you think of a single circumstance when worrying improved your life?
Worrying doesn’t improve your life and neither does being a victim. The new media lied; identifying with your weaknesses makes you a slave to them.
If you identify with your weakness, you become glued in a character arc that never gets better. If you play the victim, you will forever be a loser who never gets what you want.
99% of things you worry about never happen.

2 年Worrying is a distraction Why should I worry when worrying distracts me from solving my issues? Why should you worry, when worrying takes away the focus, and the time you can spend to remove the cause of your worry? Whether you like it or not, time is moving forward and you are dragged along: You can’t change the challenges that come. You can change how you face challenges if you can think clearly. Excessive worrying creates excessive thoughts. Drowning in thoughts can be similar to drowning in murky water: feeling out of control, lost, and without a sense of direction. You can’t change what is going to happen, but you can change your thoughts. Your thoughts change your perception. Excessive thoughts are like rust on a warrior’s armor. A little rust won’t kill you, and may even be a good thing to remind you, the stakes are dire. Don’t let your feelings and your fear create excessive thoughts. To perform at your best you need a clear mind. Treat yourself with respect around the people you love. Self-respect is respecting others. An intelligent person always has a plan and a path. If you have those, why should you worry? Trust in your planning and preparation. You did the work, didn’t you?
