Why should you shortlist an ABMA Education Learner?

As an employer, you’re looking to fill a vacancy and whilst shortlisting, you see a candidate with an ABMA Education diploma. What can you instantly expect? In a nutshell, you can expect a knowledgeable, workplace-ready potential future employee.

But how can you know that?

Let’s start at the beginning. We build our syllabi using industry and education experts, ensuring we include the most up-to-date content. We consult employers and other stakeholders to ensure that this is relevant and necessary and we review our qualifications regularly to make sure the content is kept this way. But, we know that being knowledgeable is not enough for employers, so we took the next step by adding the development of soft skills into our teaching to make our learners into individuals that meet the expectations of their potential employers.?

Once we have the content, we create lesson plans to guide teachers on how to disseminate the content to its fullest, giving learners the best opportunities to build their potential.

But what does this mean?

We have made our qualifications more than just reading from a book or just listening to a lecturer. We have made our qualifications interesting and relevant covering all the key topics, but we have added something to the learning process. We encourage learners to get involved, to ask questions, create opinions and share them with others; to use soft skills. Using these ‘soft skills’ prepares our learners to be confident, communicate clearly and think ‘outside the box’.

We take great pride in the prepared lesson plans and share them with lecturers at our recognised centres. Each lesson plan is created with a range of learning techniques, providing opportunities for learners to research, present, discuss, debate and respond to other people’s opinions. During lessons, learners realise how to manage their time effectively, motivate themselves and their peers, problem solve, make decisions, and think critically, amongst many other skills. Through our learning techniques, lecturers also instil in learners how to use emotional intelligence, work as part of a team, and resolve conflicts, skills which are used in workplaces every day.

An ABMA Education learner is already a step ahead, they are already using these skills and can put them into practice confidently alongside their knowledge, work and in the workplace. You will know that you do not have to spend the time or spend the money to teach this candidate these basic workplace expectations, a huge relief to the team having to induct them into the role.

So you know an ABMA Education learner is going to be one of the best possible candidates. Knowledgeable, skilled and ready for the challenge!
