How Does a Degasser Work
Henry’s Law establishes the relationship between gas solubility and temperature. A common example of Henry’s Law is demonstrated when a bottle of soda is opened, the carbon dioxide gas rapidly escapes because the decrease in pressure lowers its solubility in the liquid.

Constant Performance HPLC Degassing White Paper

We also present a method by which vacuum degassing can be controlled such that the efficiency of the degasser can be set to a constant value at any flow rate, which reduces or eliminates the effect of in-line degassing on mixed mobile phase composition and reduces the discharge of solvent vapors to the laboratory atmosphere.
