Why should we be open to learn SAFe?

Why should we be open to learn SAFe?

''SAFe is not agile, because of .......'' Could you fill in the blanks?

There are numerous reasons to fill it when you consider this. It's simple. But first, I want to ask you some questions:

-Do you understand and apply the system thinking principle?

-How may the issues relating to complex adaptive systems be resolved in your organisation? (Let's check on google what a complex adaptive system if you don't know)

-Did you address programme- and portfolio-level issues during your agile transformation journey?

-Do you know the lean-agile principles?

-Did you concentrate on accelerating the flow during your agile transformation journey?

-Do you understand the best practises to use to tackle your organisational problems??

-Have you experienced it before, or did you use the same practices from SAFe?

These days, a lot of individuals blame the frameworks and discuss them. Because we enjoy talking about dysfunctions, I appreciate them. We are referring to the "general solutions," which are well received by all. However, your company is unique and requires a holistic approach when you go there. Your business cannot be transformed solely through team-level strategies or training. In order to accomplish that, you must concentrate on the system as a whole. To achieve this, you must be open to using any framework and must do so when necessary. Let's explore SAFe and how to use it to accomplish your business objectives.

Therefore, let's adopt a growth mindset, master the SAFe principles and practises, and put experience ahead of blame! If you've already tried this, write about your failures, and let discuss together how to solve them!

SAFe proposes a structured approach/framework and provides useful tools for lean-agile adoption for large scale organisations. Better to focus on beneficial applications and use cases rather than dysfunctions, in my opinion. Execution of SAFe in large scale organisations who delivers cyber-physical systems, for example may not be sufficient time to time but there are ofcourse several other methods you can combine with SAFe. Lastly, lean-agile adoption is about mindset and people first and this framework, i believe, helps non lean-agile organization to adopt these principles much more easily because the framework includes several applications that these people are aware of on their on-going culture.
