Annual POSH Report is a mandate process to be followed by every organization as per POSH Act 2013. It is generally filed before 31st Jan of every year. Even if we don't have any POSH complaints, we must file nil report. One might wonder why is this necessary. Let me elaborate it. Along with case details, we also submit the details of IC team, quarterly meetings and employee awareness program details. This is a proof that POSH has been implemented as per the norms laid down by POSH Act 2013.
Companies who doesn't file Annual Report can also attract fine when audited.
As per the instructions in POSH Act, totally 3 copies of reports must be prepared, one will be with IC team, one with the management and the last one to be sent to the District Officer. It's a very simple process overall.
