Why should I use a recruiter?

Why should I use a recruiter?

“Why should I use a recruiter?” is a commonly asked question but is similar to questions that many other professionals get asked. Why should I use a financial advisor? Why do I need a CPA? Why do I need a business coach?

A good recruiter helps you to navigate the search and transition process while offering perspectives and experience on the many opportunities, how they will work and the differences between them, such as the difference between #brokerdealers and #RIA firms. We work with individuals all the time that started out wanting to do their “own research”, but as most advisors know there is a difference between utilizing the knowledge and skill of an experienced advisor as compared to a “self-directed” investment account. Some of the things that draw advisors to work with MPG are our numerous industry connections, superior knowledge, advice, and the candor we offer while helping advisors navigate the decision they are making.

The other question to pose is, how many transitions or changes in firms have you been through?

Some advisors may have been through one or two. At MPG, we have been through hundreds and have the added advantage of knowing each and every step of the transition process and how to navigate the constantly changing financial landscape. MPG accomplishes this by working with a large portfolio of firms plus we talk with advisors from different firms daily and gain their great insights, thoughts, and ideas. For example, on the day that one of the wirehouses laid off an entire department after a merger, MPG was already prepared to assist and support the advisors who were losing their jobs. We were ready for this event because of our connections within the industry and were able to start having conversations with several advisors to prepare their transition before the event happened. We hear from Managers and #brokerdealers about deals and structure updates prior to advisors hearing it in the mainstream. As we explain to many advisors, just as you hear about stocks and mutual funds, or the latest ETF from the wholesalers. We hear the latest on our side as well before it hits the mainstream.

Please do not take this as us tooting our own horn, but as MPG offering its experience to help you the Financial Advisor that is looking for the best option for their practice and clients. As I tell many advisors you help your clients build their generational wealth but who is helping you plan for yours. We might not have the latest investment insights, but we offer our own insights into helping you decide how to build your best practice and be able to monetize that for your own family.?
