Why Should I do..? Vs. What Can I do..?

One of these questions adds Value; While the other questions the value you deliver to the team and Organization.

For a positive career growth & mindset, we need to see what added value we can deliver to our company/organization, we should be challenging ourselves constantly to be our best version, because it is only through experiences that we can grow.

The moment we start to think ''' that's not my Job'' or "I am only paid to do this", you must also remember that growth & promotions don't go to a person for 'just' doing their job, they 'Grow' because they exhibit the trait that they can think beyond their current requirements.

Even if your work is not recognized or appreciated or you do not see any immediate advantage in doing something that you could (easily & does not interfere in your activities) you better do it, because you will demonstrate the depth of knowledge on the subject and open doors to many opportunities & insights for you in your area of work, the same department or company or in a different one, because people notice 'high performers' and people recommend too.
