Why not share what's important?

We’re recruiting at the moment, and as anyone who has been through the process will know, it’s vital to get the right cultural fit for the team.??

That applies to clients as well. So, how do you make sure that you are aligned from the start?? More and more businesses are asking suppliers about diversity, sustainability and social value as part of the procurement process too, so it’s increasingly critical to get this right.??

The key thing is to communicate this side of your firm just as clearly as you would your professional expertise.? Do you tell clients or potential employees what it’s like to work with you? Are you interested in the same things – is what’s important to them important to you???

It doesn’t need to be a big fanfare, especially if that wouldn’t fit your style of communication.? But being clear about your values and knowing what your clients want in this area can make the difference in whether the relationship will work for the long term, so why not share what’s important up front???
