The San Antonio Riverwalk, which features over 5 miles of pathways and pavilions, has been billed as the “American Venice.” It ties together shops and restaurants, giving people ample opportunity to get exercise as part of their daily lives. So why do so many people only think of The Alamo when they think of San Antonio? San Antonio leaders have made an effort to develop arts and entertainment as well as tourism and food leading to success across all sectors of society there. Not only is San Antonio a great place to visit, it’s also a great place to work and live as well. There are multiple major historic districts as well as several up and coming newer neighborhoods.
