Why Running (or Anything Difficult) is Easier in a Group

Why Running (or Anything Difficult) is Easier in a Group

Most of you know me as a psychologist. Only some as a runner. This article was just published in the January 2017 edition of Runner's World (Dutch Edition). I wrote it to explain to runners why it feels easier to run in a group than alone. But the article is for anybody who has ever noticed that it's easier to do ANYTHING difficult when you're with friends. Want to know what's happening in your brain to explain? Buy Runner's World this month! Can't read/access the Dutch edition? No problem: as I search for a suitable English publisher for the original article, I just posted it here on my blog.
