WHY A RHINO?

META = TEAM = MATE
In December we shared the ‘Why META’ article, where we mentioned how it all started and why we chose the name META, a change in form, from one stage to the next, an Evolution, Growth, Boost, Scale, so it makes sense that our logo has its own METAMORPHOSE.
When change is something that can cause doubt for the uncertain, it also causes contentment for the progress. It’s the perfect mix between flexibility and reliability:
We started by playing with the name META and created a logo that would be dynamic and receptive to change, then came the idea of evolution. Some of the best logos not only stick in (y)our mind because they are iconic, but because of the emotions they generate, before you even contact the company for its service.
Question? Look at this image! What do you see? Many of us saw an animal, standing on their feet, so why not take this and create a perfect mascot for our brand?
A fat, grey, magical, UNICORN, the Rhino ??
Did you know, the rhinoceros revolves around a mass of misguided perception and contradiction of many paradoxes! This led us to the underlying symbolic theme, “things are not as they seem.”
?When you look at a rhinoceros, what thoughts come to your mind? Strength, Power? While the image of a rhino can invoke those feelings, it can also symbolises stability and judgment.
With our Rhino, META hopes to pass the perfect message of:
- Confidence
- Assurance
- Steadiness
- Protection
- Achievement
- Fierce
