Why is Revenue-bot.com important? And why are we launching another SaaS product line?

It's no secret that we've had major issues with some Affiliate Platforms since 2019. Those issues have caused us to leak revenue, left right and centre. Although we've managed to work with the Affiliate Platform who is the main offender, the analysis required and time taken* to resolve issues has always been a bug-bear of ours. Quite simply, we've had to fight for money which is rightfully ours, that fighting has taken months, and our business growth has been severely slowed by waiting** for cash which is rightfully ours

*The average time to get an email response increased from 12 working days to 17 working days in 2020. Mostly, email responses are partial with any difficult questions or challenges ignored

**We've waited months for manual credits to be applied, and as of today, we still have revenue claims from 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 which have not been addressed

Examples: Manual credits applied as compensation for revenue leakage

Noting that we still have revenue claims goings back to 2019, manual credits so far account for 14% of our total revenue. 14% of a lot of money is a lot of money. We expect that 14% to rise to 30% once all our claims have been addressed

So getting to the point, why are we building Revenue-Bot.com as a SaaS?

The answer is simple. 1. It takes time for Affiliates to analyse transaction data within CSV files. Each transaction is a single row. I've literally spent whole weekends analysing data from 2019 alone

2. You need SKILL to understand what's happened. I'm lucky, I've been in Tech for years and I have that skill. Most affiliates just don't though

3. If you work for an Affiliate brand, and it's 'not your money', the sheer volume of work required is enough to put you off any form of analysis, so would you really bother?

4. The issues we've found don't just affect UK publishers. Publishers in the EU (including Ireland) are also affected. As EU Publishers and the Affiliate Platform are governed by EU law, the risk to the Affiliate Platform are hugely increased. This means we have a large market to aim at

5. Publishers know they lose money. They don't however, know why and the scale (14% to 30%?) of the issue. Revenue-Bot will highlight both - so the VP is really clear

6. Publishers, understandably, are desperate for cash and specifically are desperate to recover cash which is rightfully theirs. Again - Revenue-Bot will do this

7. We have a secondary market in working with Affiliate Platforms directly. At the moment I feel like we're exposing them - but I guess it's better to have a Black Bear as a pet rather than having one chasing you and trying to eat you

So TL:DR. The market need for Revenue-Bot is HUGE. We have tested the VP ourselves on our own account and it WORKS. Revenue-Bot will save Publishers time and money and will help them claim back lost revenue, going back over the last decade, which could add up to hundreds of thousands of Pounds or Euros.

The Bot lives. Bring on the Bot.
