It’s good to see our female journalists rightly rewarded for their endeavours. Debbie McCann, Brenda Power, and Anne Sheridan did sterling work in bringing to the public’s attention the stories that need to be told.

I hope that they’ll be as brave in confronting their boss John Lee, about a scandal that he refuses to expose. Namely the plight of Belfast people exposed to Asbestos as it was blown over the city, and the dockers ordered to discharge it by their own union or be sacked. Sacked by an unbelievable Union and Employers Court that called itself THE JOINT DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE. These fine Lady Journalists can access this information on D0C004 on linkedin, but will they have the courage to confront the self-publicist John Lee with it?

I have stated many times, this is why my stage-play, ‘The Judas Goat’ is censored. Censored by in illegal conspiracy of trade union, employers, government, and the so-called independent theatre people. This, because my play shows the union and employers sacking Dockers because they wouldn’t discharge Asbestos without protection.

Gary Hynds of Druid asked me ‘in writing’ not to tell anyone that she wouldn’t stage it – and Cian O’Brian of Project Theatre thinks it’s a great play but won’t stage it. When this scandal is exposed, it will expose the union chairman who betrayed James Connolly and Jim Larkin. Besides ordering the dockers to discharge Asbestos or be sacked, he sold out the dockers by leaving the union and joining the employers as Labour Controller. While this happened over 50 years ago in Belfast, because it was orchestrated from head office in Dublin, it laid down the union’s capitulation for generations to come – and covered up the fact, that Asbestos was also unloaded at Dublin docks.

Obviously, because I’m the only person complaining about this covered up scandal, John Lee, his advisers in government and a multitude of like-minded so-called right-thinking politicians and historians feel free to cover this up. No doubt if any of the dedicated Lady Journalists dare broach this subject, they’ll be given the excuse of National Security and the wealth of the Nation.

Also, on the quoted site they’ll see proof about the corruption of Aosdana, the Arts Council and Dublin City Council’s arts department. After supporting me for my play ‘Daddy’ which is about the after-effects of child abuse on two adult sisters - when I asked for support for ‘The Judas Goat’, which is about the union betrayal led by the ex-union chairman I was censored. To be truthful, I can understand why the sly sycophantic John Lee is so adamant that this story is kept from the public. However, last week I was searching on the computer for an article when I came across something that I copied several years ago. This is the transcript of my trial in 1981. What transpired was: British soldiers planted bullets in my taxi, and I was acquitted - because one of the soldiers admitted to telling lies under oath, and changing his story, “because the Major told him to”. When the Judge was informed of this THERE WAS ABSOLUTE SILENCE IN OPEN COURT. See the transcript in my documents on linkedin and which caused such a stir in my play.

Using this impetus, I wrote my first play ‘JUSTICE’ which toured NI and was in the Belfast and Dublin Theatre festivals in 1992.

I believe that John Lee’s ‘advisers’ in government have two reasons for suppressing my Belfast Docks play. The first is to stop the facts about ‘Justice’ creating anti-English feelings – and the second is, to keep from the people of Dublin, the fact, that uncovered rotten bags of Asbestos were also discharged at Dublin port and driven through the streets of Dublin. As happened in Belfast.

If any of the above-named journalists, or indeed any journalist with courage and wishes to expose this state corruption – they should read my autobiography which is available on Amazon. Here they will get chapter and verse on the coverups that are happening in Ireland. Before anyone thinks this is a money-making exercise – I don’t receive a cent from any sales. My American editor printed it free of charge and any recompense goes to her.

While the above is relevant, what brings this situation up to date is the fact – that whatever shop or library I enter, I’m picked out by security cameras and security personnel follow me around. Several times when this unwarranted surveillance get too much, I inform the security man or woman that, ‘what they’ve just been told in through their earpiece is nonsense and would they go away and leave me alone’.

This happened last Friday 16th of November in the Library and the security man was taken aback at what I said – and he did turn and go away. This was obviously recorded by the cameras and usually only happens when it’s a new security person. I have asked several of them ‘what were they told’, but they refused to tell me. Am I not entitled to know what lies are been circulated about me?

Note: None of the civil right or human rights bodies on this Island will even acknowledge this travesty of justice and will not even reply to me. This is the reason why John Lee will not allow any of my issues to be reported in his news- papers. Because his friends, the government security advisers don’t want the public to know, just how much surveillance is being wrongly applied to someone they claim is a person ‘of interest’.

I cannot get a solicitor to challenge this undeniable intrusion of my human rights and to take it into a courtroom. They are all afraid of repercussions from the John Lee’s friends in government. When I tried to do it myself, three times my application was refused. The last two solicitors I approached, from working class areas refused point blank to take on this case. The reason I tried again was because a barrister on linkedin was interested but stated, that he’d have to be instructed by a solicitor, but to no avail.

Before this, I’d spoken to a Td and asked could he give me the name of his solicitor, which he did. I approached his solicitor using the Td’s name as a reference. The solicitor took the case, wrote everything down and arranged another meeting in two weeks’ time. However, when I arrived the solicitor stated bluntly “I can’t take this case”. When I questioned why not, he repeated several times that he could not take the case and ushered me out of his office.

So, my question to the three lady journalists, is… why does the rule of law only applies to the people who don’t rock the boat? These civilised people see what happens to whistle- blowers and agree, ‘willingly or not’, to ignore the fact, that Truth and Justice do not apply to everyone in Ireland. Maybe through the airing of these facts the Lady Journalists will l understand the reason they won their awards – to keep them quiet in future.

A perfect example of this dedication to silence is the example of John Lee. He betrays and makes a mockery of journalist worldwide who risk their lives to report the truth, However, John won’t even risk his salary and well paid job by exposing the Asbestos owners and the union leaders who were bought off 50 years ago and ordered it to be discharged without protection.

Besides the censorship I’ve experienced in Ireland I have never stopped writing – and besides the files which prove the cover ups I will attach for the benefit of the three lady journalists, a link to my new play. This exposes the new woke scandal and butchery which has overtaken Ireland.
