Why Real Estate Agents Need a Six-Pack (Of Energy, Not Beer) to Succeed

REALTORS: 10X YOUR LISTINGS AND COMMISSIONS at AGENT UNLEASHED COLLECTIVE?
I have a confession to make.
I am sicker than a dog.
I had a houseguest this past weekend who came here with the flu from the United States that's been going around and out of 6 of us, she infected 4 of us. I haven't been sick in years like this. Like I say in my book "Massive Abundance", being a real estate agent isn’t for the faint of heart—literally.
Between showing homes, negotiating deals, and answering texts at midnight from anxious clients, this job can feel like running a marathon while juggling flaming contracts.
If you’re not in peak shape—physically and mentally—real estate will chew you up, spit you out, and then ask you for a price reduction.
So, let’s talk about why great health and a great mindset are the ultimate keys to success in real estate (and why your “doughnut-for-breakfast” habit might be the reason you’re losing listings).
1. You Can’t Close Deals If You’re Closed for Business
If you’re running on caffeine and stress, your body will eventually demand a price reduction—aka burnout.
Ever tried to negotiate a million-dollar deal while running on three hours of sleep and gas station snacks? It’s like trying to sell a haunted house as "charmingly vintage"—it won’t work.
2. Your Energy is Your Business Card
People don’t just buy homes; they buy confidence, enthusiasm, and trust.
If you show up looking like you just fought a raccoon for a stale bagel, clients will sense it. A strong body fuels a strong presence.
When you feel good, you show up with the kind of energy that says, "I can sell anything—even this house with shag carpet and an avocado-green kitchen."
3. Mindset = Money
A negative mindset will sabotage more deals than a bad appraisal.
If every rejection sends you spiraling into a Netflix binge and a gallon of ice cream, it’s time for a mindset tune-up.
Real estate is a game of persistence, and a strong mental attitude helps you bounce back faster than a buyer backing out after a home inspection.
4. You Need Stamina for the Long Game
Let’s be real—real estate isn’t a job; it’s a lifestyle.
Long hours, unpredictable markets, and dealing with “Zillow experts” require endurance.
You don’t need to be a gym rat, but if walking up three flights of stairs to a showing makes you question your career choices, it’s time to rethink that fitness plan.
5. Healthy Agents Make More Money
Studies show that people with more energy, focus, and resilience tend to perform better in sales. Translation?
Your morning workout might be worth more than your next postcard campaign.
Final Thoughts: Get Fit, Get Focused, Get Paid
Want to dominate your market? Start by dominating your habits. Eat well, exercise, meditate, and protect your mindset like a seller protecting their listing price.
Because when your health and mindset are in top shape, your business follows.
And hey, if all else fails—just fake it with a standing desk and a green smoothie. Clients won’t know the difference. ??
But now I'm going to back to bed.

You can do this.
