Why RE Brokers Should Consider RPA

If you’re in the business of selling residential real estate, you know that your industry is currently facing a fair amount of disruption. While the Corona Crisis has put iBuyers on hold, they will be back and they will continue to change the way homeowners sell their properties and what brokers and their agents get paid for assisting them.

Then, there is the legal action regarding real estate commissions. As Bankrate pointed out in its coverage of that matter, “Regardless of this lawsuit, every buyer and seller should know that there is no rule when it comes to commissions.” Eventually, consumers will get this message.

Fortunately, an existing trend points the way to future success for real estate brokers.

By becoming licensed mortgage brokers, real estate agents can guide consumers through the entire real estate sales and purchase process. Some real estate companies have been moving in this direction, but we see this as a national trend that will eventually impact everyone in the industry.
