Why Quizzing is important?

I was recently at a GenAI Summit to deliver an industry tech talk and participate in a fun quiz that caught my attention as part of the agenda.

The quiz was well-received by many of us during the summit, especially as Balaji (in the picture) emphasized the importance of quizzes for younger generations and their connection to the DIKW Pyramid.

It took me back to my school days, where I loved participating in quiz competitions and representing my school in inter-school events. I expressed my gratitude to my teachers, who always nominated me for quiz competitions.

Coming back to the fun quiz, the questions were truly engaging, making it one of the best sessions I have attended so far.

As a speaker, it’s always challenging to engage the audience in a post-lunch slot since you need to capture their attention right away. I always prepare to grab the audience’s focus first before jumping into my topic. However, in this case, the fun quiz made that task much easier for me. I thanked Balaji for such an interesting quiz and for helping re-energize the audience.

A handy tip for organizers: incorporating diverse sessions like these in summits can truly elevate the experience for attendees.
