Why QCI?

Why QCI?

A few months back, I spoke to a computer science club at Iowa State University with hopes of providing assistance to students before their upcoming career fair. While the conversation was focused on the student's success, I did use some time to stir the QCI kool-aid.

So Why QCI?

  1. Value people. QCI has a competitive advantage of treating people with respect. Whether it's our own employee base or the individuals we work with on a daily basis, we value people. I cannot stress enough how important this is.
  2. Engineering culture. How do you distinguish yourself between a 'staffing firm' and an IT consulting partner? You instill an engineering culture throughout the organization. The tagline, "More than Technology. Understanding." holds true for everything we do.
  3. Committed to Des Moines. For over 25 years, we have been focused and committed to the greatest city in the world. Besides catering to the needs of our clients, we continue to support local user-groups, schools and non-profit organizations with the understanding that the city reaches it's full potential when everyone has the opportunity to succeed.
  4. Growing technology base. QCI has grown steadily and quietly by following a simple mission: We help our clients use technology to succeed. To accomplish our mission, QCI attracts the best people, partners with great vendors, and delivers exceptional value to our clients.

So in a Des Moines IT market that is flooded with annoying IT recruiters and staffing firms, I challenge you, as I did the students at Iowa State, to experience QCI and see for yourself what makes us different. You won't be disappointed and the kool-aid tastes delicious.

Cheers!
