Gujarat International Finance Tec-City ( GIFT ),?an ambitious project conceptualized in 2007, was originally a joint venture between the GUDC & IL&FS.
Originally a project comprised of 3 phases of 4 years each started in 2011. Although the project was supposed to be complete by 2023, however at the end of 2021, out of 11:2 mn sq. ft of phase-1, 3.4 mn. Sq.ft. Is completed with only 265 companies that have established their offices at GIFT city.
An ambitious project of state government-backed by Center strongly but could not come up to the expectation.
We at VastuRaviraj assume the following shortfalls on the basis of Vastushastra.
(1) Irregular shape of the plot responsible for problems of various natures.????
(2) Sabarmati river across North-west + West + South-west is responsible for the biggest setback to the project.??
(3) Cut in the South-east can be responsible for delay, obstacles & excessive unproductive overheads.
(4) Cut in the South-west along with the presence of rivers can disturb the total financials of this project.

(5) Total cut in North to East .. hampering total economics & execution of project along with overall growth.
(6) An electric substation is developed across East of North East which is highly responsible for hampering the overall progress and execution of the project.
(7) So far maximum development has taken place in the North-west region of the entire plot, which can be responsible for failure in establishing proper coordination and harmony among all agencies involved in this project.
(8) Second area of maximum development is the central - Brahma region which is mainly responsible for creating a gross imbalance between the planning & execution.
