Why Precision Air?
The best technology in the hospital is found in the Operating Room, yet airflow delivery is based on standards that deliver sub-optimal performance.
Clinical studies show that it takes a higher volume of airflow delivered to the room to provide better thermal comfort, airborne particle and smoke mitigation, and reduce the risk of surgical site infections.
We can prove it!
Replacing an air-handler or ceiling system isn't enough.
A new air-handler will be more efficient than an older unit, and it can help solve building wide issues. However, providing 20-25 ACH (air changes) to the OR won't deliver comfortable air for the patient and surgical team AND it can't reduce the ability of airborne particles to penetrate the surgical field. Installing a new laminar flow ceiling to handle 20-25 ACH won't do it either.
You need to look at the entire scope of the project (AHU and ceiling system) and align it with your clinical and operational goals.
?
If you are replacing an air-handler or ceiling system that struggles to deliver 20 ACH to the OR with something to new deliver the required minimal 20 ACH - you haven't solved anything.
