Why PR Management / Publicity is Essential to BUILDING One's Career...Utilize it when it's needed the most, right NOW as you RISE to succeed

I hear it a lot, where people would LOVE the opportunity to work with a publicist, while as an up and coming actor, musician, author or a savvy creative entrepreneur, many think hiring a publicist is "out of reach," for the time being, until one "makes it" in the industry. That is simply not always the case, in fact far from it! Of course, there are the firms who say the retainer is several thousand a month, and if you can't pay that, come back when you can and they will "think about" working with you. It's just like anything, that's not the only way to gain PR and work with a great publicist, who will stand with you as you are building your career. I've had 18 years experience as a strategist, to include a VERY solid 5 years of publicity management (working as a publicist with a solid journalism background and education too, where my clients are published in major media with the articles I write about them), experience in production and national TV, all while supporting social causes and rescue efforts of animals while building my career and I confidently say PR makes a difference and can help you get to where you want to be success wise. So don't overlook it when it's needed the most - as your are building and establishing yourself and when you want to define yourself authentically as you should and gain better opportunities, develop alignment with people who are on your wavelength, who will also help to uplift and encourage you to take your career and talents to new levels.

Publicity (done the right way, authentically and in an inspirational way, with your goals in mind to uplift) helps one to 1) bring more opportunities in terms of paid work; and 2) created exposure of one's good work, as you, as a talented person in your field (artist, entrepreneur and so on) can continue to reach new heights. So my point is, don't wait until the "perfect time" in terms of "making it" in your career to the fullest extent before you hire a publicist. In fact if you wait until you've already made it, and then you are announcing good projects etc to benefit the productions you are a part of etc, announce great things your company is dong, all of that is fine and well and yes still immensely important...but what about using PR to invest in YOU when you need to bring in those great opportunities on your upward swing to success as you want it? That's what publicity management does ON YOUR WAY up the ladder of success, that's when it matters the most, when you need the bigger and bigger opportunities to showcase your talent, establish yourself in terms of who YOU are and why you are the one to shine in your area of expertise - again artist, entrepreneurs, authors this post is for YOU.

Articles in the media, true to you, accurately repping who you are, and reaching people in the industry (your applicable industry, entertainment or otherwise) is vital to success, IN FACT it will help you get there (there to bigger roles, better clients etc) when working with a publicist such as me, who knows multiple industries and who has vision to see the forest through the trees, and the details on the way to attaining the success you desire (I notice the details, and the trees, so to speak along the way).
