Why Post On Your Personal LinkedIn Profile

“Why do I need to post content on my personal LinkedIn profile when my company posts on their page?”

It’s a common question my friend, and while I wish I could give you a way out of creating your own content, I can’t. ?? I need to hold your feet to the fire. ??

And here’s why. ?? No matter how you look at it, personal posts work. And when you post in collaboration with your Company Page, they REALLY work! ??

?? The Math ?? Your personal post will be pushed out initially to 6-10% of your network, your company’s post will be pushed out to 3%.

?? The Science ?? People buy from people they trust, that’s YOU when you create content and develop a following of your thought leadership.

?? The Opportunity ?? Your personal profile is not just about your company’s products and services.?YOU are a product, a very valuable product, and your personal profile is a great place to show your clients, your company, and your next company, just how valuable you are.

Here are a few tips to help you maximize BOTH opportunities on the platform:

?? Tag your Company Page in your personal posts - this will drive more traffic to your Company Page?

?? Become one of your Company Page’s Admins, and invite your connections to follow the Company Page!

?? Create content, just for YOUR audience, for your Company Page to post?(and make sure they tag you, so you can reshare/repost with comments!)

?? Comment on your Company Page’s posts

?? Comment on your team member’s posts!

All of these activities increase visibility to your Company’s products and services, as well as lends to your credibility as a team member and a LinkedIn thought leader - it’s a powerful one-two punch! ?? ??

It's back on, my friends! ?? We are all back to travelling for business, and our calendars are all filling up very quickly! We can lose track of our priorities quickly unless we find some ways to stay on top of our workloads and responsibilities.

As busy conference professionals and suppliers, it seems we are ALWAYS travelling to and from meetings, conferences and trade shows. When we're out of the office, the world is still turning and we still get inundated with emails and calls from clients and suppliers. Staying productive while travelling may seem like an oxymoron - where can we possibly find the time and the energy to be productive when on the road? ?? You'd be surprised!! ??

And when you share your company's posts (so long as they're useful, of course), you can increase your own reach. It may depend on your industry, but that seems to be the case within my industry now. PEOPLE BUY/LEARN/WHATEVER, FROM PEOPLE THEY TRUST! I will continue to scream that from the rooftops until everyone understands it lol.
