There are so many possible channels for developing business – the key is to find the balance of a few activities that work best for you. In fact, burnout is reduced if even?20% of our work consists of things we love to do.

Marketing and BD teams can therefore increase relationship building by getting to know the strengths of fee earners. For example, extroverts may thrive with lots of networking events in their schedule, while introverts may spend more time writing and promoting thought leadership content.

Tailoring BD activity to individual strengths will help everyone to get results while enjoying it at the same time.
